The emergency code announcement system was put into operation in April 1400 with 8 summoning devices and 1 announcing device in the departments of Khatam al-Anbiya (PBUH) hospital in Kashmir.

Introduction
When an emergency occurs, the speed of providing services is one of the important factors in hospitals, a significant part of which is spent on informing that speeding up information can play an important role in saving patients’ lives.
This system provides the possibility of fast and reliable communication with special hospital groups that often do not have a fixed location, such as the cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) group, fire brigade, facilities, crisis and security for calling in emergency situations.
How the system works
When an emergency situation occurs, the hospital personnel can announce the situation in the shortest possible time (without intermediaries) by pressing the relevant key on the summoning device. On the other hand, the device installed at the location of the relevant group announces the location and type of summoner’s request by broadcasting a voice message through the internal speaker and also wirelessly connected to the device.
After arriving at the location, the called team presses the requested key code and the time of the team’s arrival at the location is recorded and all operations are reported through the web management panel.

Types of hospital code notification system
Using the local network: LAN/WLAN. In this method, using the computer network available in the hospital, all the devices are connected together, and there is no need for additional cabling or special infrastructure, and there is no limit in terms of the size and distribution of the network. This system model is used for large medical centers to enable the reporting and management of emergency events.
Wireless using ZigBee technology: This model has a faster installation and commissioning system than the above method and is recommended for hospitals and small clinics. The lack of antennas of the devices in the negative floors and adjacent to the lead walls is one of the weak points of this system. This system does not have the possibility of web reporting and management of emergency events.
Equipment and components of the hospital code announcement system
1- Summoning devices: They are installed in all nursing stations of the hospital, and nurses are notified with this device if the situation occurs.
2- Central server: The central server is placed in the network rack of the information technology unit and manages all the devices of this system and records the time and type of events.
3- Annunciating devices: It is installed at the location of the quick response teams of the hospital and, in addition to the voice announcement of the situation and the location of the call, it transmits the message to handheld wireless devices.
4- The web panel of the code announcement system: it is a software environment for managing and displaying events that the hospital manager and supervisor can access through a computer or mobile phone connected to the hospital network.
