Hospital Code Announcement Caller Unit

Call for price

The network-based caller unit is the new generation of the call-initiating device in the hospital code announcement system. It sits directly on the medical center LAN/WLAN infrastructure with full TCP/IP support, passing every key pressed by staff instantly to all special teams — resuscitation, fire, facilities, crisis and security — without any separate cabling, using the hospital existing computer network.

How the system works :

Pressing the matching key sends the emergency status through the network to the announcer devices stationed with the target team; the voice message plays from their built-in speaker and transceiver, stating the place and type of the request. Delivery of each message is acknowledged over an encrypted, full-duplex link with the server.

Network emergency code system specifications :

  • 9 operational codes definable on the caller unit, covering up to 255 call points
  • Fully networked operation with TCP/IP over LAN/WLAN
  • Caller-unit keys can be limited where needed
  • Full-duplex, encrypted device-to-server communication for guaranteed delivery
  • Color-coded display of announcement status
  • Records the interval between the call and the team arrival
  • Compatible with wide, distributed organizational networks
  • Easy installation on the existing network infrastructure
  • Web-based monitoring panel with easy reporting
