The network-based announcer unit is the call-receiving terminal of the networked hospital code announcement system. Installed at the station of each special team, it receives the emergency message sent by the caller unit over the center LAN/WLAN network and announces the location and type of the request to team members through its built-in speaker and connected transceiver.

System operation flow :

Staff press the matching key on the caller unit when an emergency occurs; the message travels over the network to this device, which plays the place and type of the request aloud. Delivery status appears as a color code and the team arrival time is recorded.
