A 21-channel voice network

The SK-WK2 opens twenty-one communication channels (numbers 0 to 6 across sectors A, B and C). On any channel you can send group voice pages, fire a Call alarm from the console to the devices or handheld radios defined on it, or use monitor mode to stream uninterrupted audio to the other units. The VOL+ / VOL- keys set the conversation volume.

Range, battery and endurance

Audio travels up to a 500 m radius in urban areas, both ways. The handheld carries a built-in 1000 mAh (3.7 V) battery lasting roughly 4 days on standby or 2 days of normal use; it is replaceable, and a LOW BATTERY alarm warns before it dies.

No installation, unlimited expansion

Getting started needs no special setup: plug the console in and charge the handheld. When the team grows, desktop consoles or handheld radios can be added to the same package without any limit.
